Welcome to “OK with RA”.

This blog is about my journey using diet, exercise, and other lifestyle changes to combat symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.

Many people who live with RA believe they MUST use pharmaceuticals to combat the disease. Unfortunately, these drugs often bring with them side effects that cause more trouble than the arthritis itself. I have chosen a different path for myself, and I am choosing to share my pilgrimage with you.

I hope this blog will show that there are healthful, wholesome ways to stop arthritis pain and slow it’s progression. This lifestyle brings with it hope, comfort, confidence, and the BEST side effects you could wish for! I desire that everyone with arthritis, or other auto-immune issues, who does not want to subject themselves to harsh pharmaceuticals will  will have the opportunity to make their own informed decisions as well.

Life with RA is certainly challenging, but it’s also rich, meaningful, and fun… and I’m OK with it!
